Hezbollah Expresses Gratitude for Iran’s Support of Lebanon Amid Israeli Aggression
WANA (Nov 27) – Hezbollah issued a statement expressing gratitude for the full support extended by the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon’s people, government, and resistance, particularly highlighting the diplomatic efforts led by Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
The statement follows the cessation of Israeli hostilities against Lebanon and commended the unwavering backing provided by Iran, with special mention of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
It also acknowledged the diplomatic engagement initiated by the visit of Iran’s Foreign Minister, Araghchi, to Beirut, alongside other key Iranian officials.
“We express our deepest thanks to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its absolute support of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance on all fronts, led by His Eminence the Supreme Leader, and the repeated visits of Foreign Minister Araghchi, his representative Mr. Shibani, Speaker of Parliament Mr. Ghalibaf, and Senior Advisor to the Leader Mr. Larijani, all of which were evident during Israel’s aggression,” the statement read.
Further praising Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, the statement also referenced the injury of the Iranian Ambassador during the Israeli attacks, alongside the sacrifices made by late Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian. Hezbollah also expressed appreciation for the strong support from the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
